About St. Andrew’s College

Aurora, Ontario

St. Andrew’s College (SAC) is an independent, all-boys preparatory school for Grades 5-12. Founded in 1899 and located 40 minutes north of Toronto in the town of Aurora, our 126-acre campus is home to a mix of more than 650 boarding and day students from 25-plus countries. SAC offers a rigorous academic curriculum with multiple Advanced Placement (AP) opportunities and a rich, activity-based educational environment. A wireless laptop program adds to the learning experience, incorporating the latest technology into the classroom. We welcome boys from around the world with strong academic backgrounds who also want to become active members of our community.

As set out in our mission statement, SAC’s academic program is complemented by a wide range of co-curricular activities designed to develop “the complete man, the well-rounded citizen.” All boys participate in our extensive athletic (71 teams across 22 sports) and leadership programs. Many of our students also choose to participate in SAC’s internationally acclaimed arts, drama, and music programs and are active in photography, broadcast journalism, robotics, community outreach, and more. A St. Andrew’s education is like no other. Graduates gain entry to top universities in Canada, the U.S., and abroad and are renowned for their strong values, dedication to community, lasting achievements, and lifelong friendships.

As a progressive learning institution, SAC opened a partner school for girls, St. Anne’s School (SAS), offering a warm and inspirational environment where girls build character, own their voice, and strive for distinction. Mirroring the excellence of SAC in a day school setting, St. Anne’s inspires a lifelong love of learning, fosters confidence and curiosity, and prepares young women to shape a better world. Together, SAC and SAS form a unique and intentional “Partnerhood.” While students benefit from single-gender academics, they engage in shared co-curricular programming that promotes mutual respect, collaboration, and lifelong friendships. This powerful Partnerhood enriches student life and fosters a dynamic community where boys and girls are equipped to lead with integrity, empathy, and purpose.
