Nurses' Network

The CIS Ontario Nurses’ Network is a professional learning community for independent school nurses and those that work in a health services capacity with their school. 

Members connect with peers, share insights, develop ideas and explore best practices for supporting student well-being in independent schools. Discussion topics can include;

• Student health and wellness practices in independent schools
• Infection prevention and control
• Health office procedures and documentation
• Communication with families, faculty, and school leadership
• Emergency preparedness and risk management
• Peer questions, shared resources, and best-practice discussions

This network uses their member's only Nurses' Network Hub within CISO Connect to share information and ask questions. Regular online meetings are held throughout the year and members are invited to attend an annual retreat.

Members of the 📍Nurses' Network and📍Mental Health Support Services Network (social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals) are welcome to join us on Thursday, May 13  – Friday, May 14, 2027 for the Health Services Networks' Spring Retreat.
