TechFest

TechFest is a unique professional development opportunity for CIS Ontario school administrators, information and technology teams, communications and admissions departments and business office staff.  With sessions led by those working in the areas of information and innovation, education management systems, data analytics, privacy and data management, all teams from across your school will benefit from this cross-departmental collaboration and learning experience.

TechFest 2021 - Community Conversations

TechFest 2021 featured a new initiative, TechFest Community Conversations - a series of free, virtual, facilitated discussions covering front of mind topics for I.T. professionals and data leaders. These 60-90 minutes sessions were crafted as engaged, community driven conversations instead of presentations. We discussed the path and evolution of data as it flows through our systems and why it is so important to create a culture of data stewardship.
