Supporting Students' Wellbeing Conference

The CIS Ontario Supporting Students' Wellbeing Conference (formerly Student Life) is a professional learning day for all faculty and staff in CIS Ontario member schools who support the day-to-day wellbeing of students. If you are a teacher, health care professional or an administrator involved with student wellbeing, social work, school life and/or leadership, boarding, student services, health care, guidance and/or learning strategies, please consider joining us!

SHARING STRATEGIES
As we set intentions for our own learning and share our strategies, CIS Ontario member school participants will begin to unpack the guiding question: How might we leverage new strategies to support students’ wellbeing in our schools?

MEMBER SCHOOL-LED WORKSHOPS
One of our shared values is collaboration. CIS Ontario schools are better when we learn together. By sharing our collective experience, expertise and knowledge, we all learn and grow in our support of students and their wellbeing. Member school-led workshops will allow us to leverage the expertise within our community.

JOB ALIKE DISCUSSIONS
Finding our peers within the CIS Ontario community of professionals is a powerful tool to support our learning. During "job alike" discussions, participants who share common roles will have opportunities to make inter-school connections and establish areas of common need. CIS Ontario will follow-up after the conference with extended learning through Conversation Circles and/or our job alike groups dashboards on the Member Portal as per requests from participants.
