First day jitters? No problem. The New Teacher Orientation Workshops provide an introduction to independent schools for teachers new to the profession in our member schools and/or new experienced teachers to CIS Ontario schools. Session #3 Leveraging AI Prompt Engineering to Revolutionize Your Work with LLMs
Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 4:00–5:30 p.m. via Zoom

Future Design School (FDS) will facilitate an engaging and hands-on session where you will explore how Large Language Models (LLMs) are helping transform teaching and learning by reimagining what’s possible. You will learn how leveraging prompt engineering principles allows you to use AI as a thought partner to boost productivity and unlock new possibilities.

Attending this session will earn you the Level 1 - AI Microcredential I.  If you want to earn the entire suite of microcredentials, you will need to take Microcredentails II-IV in January and February 2026, however you will receive credit for completing AI Microcredential I. CIS Ontario recently added Level 2 – AI Microcredential V and VI to the program so there are now six discrete AI microcredentials available for teachers that support your work in the classroom and the school at large.
