Health Services Networks' Spring Retreat

May 5–6, 2025 – Strengthening the Circle of Care

Members of the 📍Nurses' Network and📍Mental Health Support Services Network are welcome to join us on Monday, May 5  – Tuesday, May 6, 2025 for the Health Services Networks' Spring Retreat at Living Water Resorts in Collingwood, ON.

Reconnect, recharge and revitalize your practice at our upcoming Health Services Networks Retreat, designed to unite social workers, school psychologists, and nurses with the powerful theme of Strengthening the Circle of Care. Attendees will explore innovative collaborative practice strategies to enhance students' physical and mental well-being in our member schools. 

Learning outcomes include:

  • Strengthening inter-professional collaboration for holistic student support
  • Implementing evidence-based practices to address complex and diverse student needs 
  • Understanding the legal implications of health privacy and professional obligations in an independent school setting
  • Navigating the evolving landscape of student mental and physical health
  • Building a supportive network with colleagues from diverse disciplines
  • Engaging in self-care and resilience-building activities as a team

The two days will include whole-group and job-like breakout sessions. Guest speakers include experts in education and health privacy from Borden, Ladner, and Gervais LLP, including Melissa Eldridge, Partner & Co-Chair, National School Boards Practice, and children's mental health from the University of Toronto and Sick Kids Hospital.
