Executive Assistants’ Conference

There is no better multi-tasker in any organization; the executive assistant position is a critical one and is a leadership role that can make a real difference. This workshop will explore how your individual style impacts how you approach the role. You will learn how to ensure you're having a positive impact on the school community. We will also delve into how to efficiently manage the challenges of a demanding workload with changing priorities and multiple stakeholders through the use of effective conversations and communication strategies.

Executive Assistants' Conference 2020 CANCELLED

On March 12, 2020, Premier Ford, Minister Elliott, and Minister Lecce announced the closing of all publicly funded schools from March 14 - April 5, 2020. Click here to read the News Release from the Ontario government.

In order to help 'flatten the curve' and slow down the spread of COVID-19, CIS Ontario  is cancelling, postponing or revising all CIS Ontario and CISAA gatherings, programs and events until after Easter Break in mid-April. We will revisit all events that have been scheduled after April 14, 2020 in the weeks ahead.

At this time, if you registered to attend the Executive Assistants' conference at Horseshoe Valley Resort you are advised to contact the venue and cancel your hotel reservation, please call the Reservations Department at 1-800-461-5627. We will reach out later in April to solicit your feedback as to when we may be able to revisit hosting this event.

Keep calm and ask the executive assistant ... This conference is always a great "tune-up" for one of the most critical frontline roles in any school.
