Connects Unconference 2026

Plan to join us at the CIS Ontario Connects Unconference 2026 on Monday, February 9th at the Centennial College Event Centre in Scarborough.

What is Generative AI?
Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to technology that can create new content—such as text, images, music, videos, lesson plans, or code—based on patterns it has learned from existing data. Unlike traditional AI systems that simply classify, predict, or analyse information, generative AI produces original material in response to human prompts or questions.

What is Agentic AI?
Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to AI systems that can take action or make decisions on behalf of a user to achieve a goal—often by connecting multiple tools, gathering information, and completing tasks autonomously. Unlike generative AI, which creates content when prompted, agentic AI can plan, execute, and adapt its actions without needing step-by-step human instructions.
