Role Overview

To support our vision of empowered young women challenging and transforming the world, we are currently seeking a Junior School Teacher. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Junior School Head, Junior School Assistant Head, and Junior School teaching team, and will be responsible for the development and delivery of creative and innovative inquiry based programming, while meeting the individual needs of all students in the classroom. 

Position Details
Department: Junior School

Reports to: Junior School Head

Liaises with: Junior School Head, Junior School Assistant Head, Junior School Teachers 

Education: Bachelor of Education, Ontario Teacher Certification 

Experience: 3+ years experience teaching at Junior grade level

Experience developing/implementing Project/Inquiry Based Learning 

Additional Qualifications (asset)
Experience in a non-profit setting (asset)
Experience in an Independent School (asset)
Working Conditions: Office / School Environment, Mac, Google

• Experience with developing innovative inquiry-based programming that challenges students with a variety of learning styles, interests and strengths.  

• Exemplary communication and collaboration skills with the proven ability to develop relationships and a caring rapport with students and their families, and with colleagues.
