Hillfield Strathallan College is currently recruiting for a French teacher in our Middle School (Gr. 5-Gr. 8) to start in late November.

Position Overview: 

Reporting to the Principal of the Middle School, the experienced educator will prepare and implement a French program for students. They will employ classroom management practices, including establishing and enforcing student expectations for the creation of a supportive, safe, caring and effective learning environment, as well as participate in the co-curricular program as directed by the Principal.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, possess an Ontario Teaching Certificate or equivalency, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a passion for education. They should also possess up-to-date skills in the area of technology and embrace a model of student-centred learning.
