Located in the beautiful Forest City, Matthews Hall is a longstanding, co-educational PK to Grade 8 school founded in 1918 in London, Ontario. POSITION:  FACULTY ASSOCIATE – SUPPORT TEACHER, FULL-TIME

START DATE:  Immediately

DESCRIPTION:

Matthews Hall is seeking an outstanding and dynamic teacher who is, preferably, a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Reporting to the Head of School, the successful candidate will be directly involved in the academic program, special projects, classroom coverage, assisting teachers, leading extra-help classes, and other support roles related to teaching, learning, and planning.

The Faculty Associate will be fully engaged in the life of the School working throughout all divisions. This is an important and multi-faceted contract position for the duration of the academic year with the possibility of extension and renewal.

A breadth of experience and understanding ranging from early childhood education to learning and development in young adolescence is an important dimension of this position. Retired teachers interested in a short-term commitment are encouraged to apply.
