Director of Enrolment

Crescent School has been a leader in boys' education since 1913. Located on a beautiful, 37-acre campus in mid-Toronto, Crescent School has 785 students in Grades 3 through 12.
The School’s mission, Men of Character from Boys of Promise, enables each student to reach the full potential of his unique abilities. Character development drives everything the School does. Crescent School is committed to mentoring and relational learning – which bring out the best in boys – and instilling core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and compassion. The School nurtures wellbeing while cultivating excellence in academics, arts, athletics, business, outreach, and robotics.

The Director of Enrolment is responsible for promoting Crescent School across Canada and especially in the Greater Toronto Area by recruiting outstanding, mission-fit students and enhancing the School’s relationships with feeder schools, while having awareness of the competitive independent school landscape. The incumbent will build relationships with organizations that represent the diversity of boys to be found in the wider community.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and someone with superior judgement and relationship-building skills. They will bring administrative experience in an independent school, ideally in the enrolment or admissions portfolio. The Director of Enrolment will have experience working successfully with multiple constituencies across a school community and the sensitivity and discretion to work with parents and students as they make this important decision and investment in their future.

The new Director, Enrolment will take office in the fall of 2022 or at a mutually agreed upon date; consideration of candidates will begin in June 2022.
