About This Staff Role:
HTS has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Media Content Specialist to join our team. If you love to tell stories and capture the amazing moments of learning in schools this is the job for you.
We are looking for a creative, clear and confident communicator with extensive social media and digital experience. The ideal candidate would be a proactive self-starter who is constantly looking to push the envelope with innovative and fresh ideas with the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns through production at a time.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Media Content Specialist delivers a customer focussed, high-quality, cost-effective service to the HTS community through managing our digital and social media brand/footprint across all forums. They have the primary responsibility of curating and sharing the HTS Learning Network’s stories digitally, on the website and through various digital and social media platforms.
This position will be responsible for supporting creative development, communications, and the execution of results-driven content for various stakeholder audiences. This includes creation and maintenance of engaging and accessible web, digital and social media content, with direction and guidance from the team’s senior members. Furthermore, they track web, digital and social media analytics to inform strategy.

What You Need:

University degree in marketing, advertising, sales, business administration, communications, journalism or equivalent;

Minimum 1-2 years of work experience to including the handling of communications, original writing and editing for the web and social media and 2+ years of social media and website management experience;

Understanding and familiarity of brand building and brand management;
-
Experience in creating and executing successful email marketing, internet marketing and direct marketing programs;
-
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a high attention to detail;

Demonstrated understanding and commitment to excellence in internal client service;

Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
-
Thrives on working in a fast pace environment where flexibility and adaptability is required;

Willingness to be innovative and create efficiencies in current processes and procedures.
Technical Requirements:

High proficiency on a variety of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.

Direct experience with graphic design, photo editing, web page and other marketing-related software tools;

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and those systems normally associated with web design, such as HTML and CSS

Direct experience with marketing technology stack tools, including CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce), email marketing (HubSpot, Constant Contact) and social media tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social);

MS office, or Apple based or Google environment.
