Photo and Video Disclaimer

Photography, audio, and video recording may be present at events organized or sponsored by the Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS Ontario). By being present at a CIS Ontario event, you (i) acknowledge you are in an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur; and (ii) consent to such recording and its release, publication, exhibition and reproduction by CIS Ontario.

For clarity, CIS Ontario reserves the right to use any photography, audio, and video recording taken at any CIS Ontario event without the express written consent of those included within the photography, audio or video recording. CIS Ontario may use the photography, audio, and video recording in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by CIS Ontario including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, newspapers, magazines, television, social media, websites, etc., or for any other purpose determined by CIS Ontario, its affiliates or representatives.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without the written consent of the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

A person attending a CIS Ontario event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution, publication, exhibition or reproduction should make their wishes known to the CIS Ontario contracted photographer, and/or the event organisers.

By participating in a CIS Ontario event or by failing to notify the CIS Ontario contracted photographer, and/or the event organisers, your desire to not have your photograph used by CIS Ontario, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify CIS Ontario from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

Any person or organisation not affiliated with CIS Ontario may not use, copy, alter or modify CIS Ontario photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorised designee from CIS Ontario.
