English & Drama Teacher – Senior School
One-year Term Contract - Full-Time

Based in central Ottawa, Ashbury College is currently seeking a full-time Grade 9 to 12 English and Drama teacher for the 2019 – 2020 academic year. If you bring creativity to your lesson planning, promote critical thinking in your classes, have the demonstrated ability to promote creativity and self-confidence, and encourage students to strive for academic and personal excellence, we want to hear from you.
A degree in English and/or Drama combined with teaching certification and prior teaching experience is required. We are also seeking experience teaching Drama and/or leading school productions, as well as a demonstrated success of adding to the full life of the school. International Baccalaureate experience would also be desirable. As well, we are looking for teachers who have experience playing or coaching football, rugby, soccer, basketball and/or volleyball.
