OCT Qualified Teacher (or equivalent) & Soccer or Football Coach (Sept 2019)

At St. Andrew’s College, we’re interested in reframing the conversation about teaching and learning inside and outside of the classroom. Our new strategic plan reaffirms our commitment to hiring transformational teachers - those who have the passion, drive, and expertise to help extraordinary boys become exceptional young men.

We are looking for teachers, coaches, and mentors who are relentless at pursuing modes of instruction that will ensure student growth and success.

If you are the kind of teacher who has a deep sense of purpose, is desirous of the autonomy to lead, and is seeking the support for personal growth, tell us your story.

If you aspire to build upon your student’s dreams while building your own, then you might just have discovered the opportunity of a lifetime.

The ideal candidate will aspire to be a teacher of young men in one of the many fields of study offered at the school. They will also demonstrate the ability to contribute to the many facets of school life at SAC.

Additionally, they should have extensive experience playing and, ideally, coaching either soccer or football at a competitive level.

Candidates are required to hold a B.Ed. or have the ability to acquire the essential teaching qualifications for Ontario.

If you would like to participate in the full life of a school that is at the forefront of technology, boasts outstanding classroom and athletic facilities, and fosters a culture of collegiality and warmth, we would like to hear from you. The College offers a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
