About This Faculty Role
HTS has an exciting opportunity for a Student Success Coach to join our Student Success team in August 2019 who will report to the Director of Student Success and Post-Secondary Counselling.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated, innovative and passionate individual who will be responsible for the academic support of students in Grades 7 -12 and for assisting to develop program and service from K-12. He/she will be working directly with students and families to meet the needs of diverse learning profiles.
We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply:
Bachelor's Degree in Education; specialty in assigned area
OCT certified, with Additional Qualifications in Special Education required (Part 1, 2 and Specialist)
2-3 years experience, at appropriate level in a similar role
Ability to interact with students, parents, and teachers enthusiastically, patiently, and with discretion
Demonstrated knowledge of counselling theories, models and techniques
Willingness and enthusiasm for integrating technology into the learning environment
Independent School experience is an asset
