We are seeking highly collaborative teachers who are passionate about their subject area and who actively seek the opportunity for interdisciplinary and real-world connections and who are innovative not only in the use of technology but in the ways that they engage students in learning. The BSS Middle School is based on an enquiry model with emphasis on project-based and problem-based learning. The position requires commitment to close collaboration and planning alongside the teacher partner for Grade 7 Math and Science (STEM), engaging in interdisciplinary initiatives, and making contributions that productively support the overall well-being and growth of students in the Middle School.
You are a subject specialist with superior academic credentials, including relevant degrees, Ontario Teaching Certification and ideally at least three years’ teaching experience. Your teaching record is exemplary and includes inquiry-based experience. You have a passion for igniting a spark for the sciences and technology in girls. You enjoy participating in the life of the school, including co-curricular activities.
