Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Principal, the Receptionist is a strong multi-tasker, and will leverage past experience in a similar role to greet visitors, direct them to the appropriate location within the school, answer the school main telephone line and direct the phone calls throughout the school in a friendly, welcoming manner.
Additionally, the Receptionist will assist students who are signing in and liaise with faculty, parents/guardians as required. The Receptionist will maintain the employee phone directory, the Staff Lounge and Main Photocopy Room, ensuring they are well stocked and supplies are ordered when necessary.
With post-secondary training in a related field and a minimum of 2-3 years related experience, the successful candidate is a skilled communicator with the ability to interact positively and professionally with various stakeholders including students, parents and colleagues. You possess strong inter-personal skills and the ability to connect in a relational manner with adolescent girls. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task with regular interruptions. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and work with new databases with ease round out your profile.
