Located in Port Hope, Ontario, Trinity College School (TCS) is a leading co-educational boarding and day school for approximately 550 young people from Grades 5-12. Founded in 1865, the School places a balanced emphasis on academics, service learning, athletics and the arts – as both a long-held TCS tradition and a thoughtful approach to 21st century education.
Trinity College School is currently looking to fill the following positions
for the 2019-2020 academic year:
10-month contract running September 2019 - June 2020
TCS is seeking outstanding recent graduates with an undergraduate degree who are considering education as a career. Reporting to the Senior Housemaster, the successful candidates will ideally have experience in working with young people in a residential setting. Experience working at a summer camp is an asset. Successful candidates will be provided with room and board on campus and, as such, will live in residence and be fully engaged in the life of the School. The ability and desire to contribute to the School’s dynamic co-curricular program, offer support in the classroom and/or in other TCS programs, is essential. Candidates with experience and/or interest in community service or philanthropy activities should indicate this when applying. These positions also include a number of evening and weekend supervisory duties.
Paid contracts (including health and dental benefits) are for one academic year, fully pensionable (for certified teachers) and have the possibility of being renewed for a second year.
