CIS Ontario Thrive Student Leaders 2019

Cost: $40 per student, Advisors free

* Limit of 10 students & 2 Advisors per school

CIS Ontario Thrive Student Leaders is an inter-school student leadership collaboration event hosted by TMS School. Students will participate in seminar discussions on topics relevant to their leadership in school, and network with others in a similar role to foster collaboration in the future. Students will also be taught hard skills for problem-solving in their own unique leadership environments.

THRIVE Highlights

  • A conference led and designed by students for students
  • Session leaders come from six different CIS schools
  • Sessions facilitated by 2-3 leaders collaborating from different CIS schools
  • Session leaders met together in early December to plan their sessions and continue to collaborate online
  • Keynote speaker, Mariam Fancy in 4th year at the Munk School at the University of Toronto and is currently working with and for the United Nations
  • Panel of CIS Ontario school graduates in first to fourth year of university in university leadership positions
  • Conference participants will meet many students from other CIS schools, be able to attend two working sessions and walk away with tools and solution ideas for practical application in their schools
  • Lunch provided
