For more than 75 years, Camp Kandalore has created an overnight camp experience like no other for campers ages 6 to 16 on the shores of Lake Kabakwa in the Algonquin Highlands. Kandalore has proudly been part of the Appleby College family of programs since 2023.
With the best of both canoe-tripping and camp activities on offer, summer days are filled with friendship, laughter, campfires, activities and skill-building. Kandalore’s long-standing and esteemed reputation has been built upon the development of camping and recreational skills across a wide variety of areas of interest on a beautiful site in the Algonquin Highlands. An overnight canoe trip is part of every camper’s experience, from 1 to 7 nights, age-dependent!
With up to 30 exciting activities on offer - including high ropes, team swing, water skiing, mountain biking, pottery, land and water sports, and so much more - campers will always find activities they are passionate about! Kandalore is truly a family. Campers and staff belong to an especially warm, inclusive and accepting community – one that celebrates fun, authenticity, nature, learning and challenge.
