CIS Ontario ZOOM Legal Updates with BLG
To help support you with your legal questions and concerns, CIS Ontario holds a series of weekly ZOOM video conference calls with Eric Roher and his team at BLG. The legal team provides a COVID-19 update, as it relates to employment and education, and answers specific questions at the end of the webinar.

Heads' Network Education Law Symposium
The annual CIS Ontario Heads' Education Law Symposium is a professional learning opportunity for Heads of School or their designate. In addition to themselves, Heads are welcome to register up to 2 members from their school leadership team. Additional team members may also be able to attend, space permitting. There is no cost for this event. Led by Eric Roher, National Lead of the Education Law Group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, the Law Symposium agenda was created to include topics and issues relevant to CIS Ontario schools. The afternoon session includes a focus on a special topic such as Crisis Communications or Enterprise Risk Management.
