Faculty of Education Students — Discover Career Opportunities in Ontario’s Independent Schools

CIS Ontario participates in education career fairs throughout the school year at universities across Ontario and at McGill in Montreal. These events are a valuable way for Faculty of Education students and soon-to-be graduates to connect directly with representatives from independent schools, ask questions, and explore current job opportunities.

While online research is helpful, speaking face-to-face with teachers and administrators offers first-hand insight into the unique culture, expectations, and rewards of working in our Ontario member independent school communities.

CIS Ontario does not hire directly, but at these fairs, we proudly represent a diverse network of member schools—each with its own mission and educational approach—and help connect educators with meaningful career paths across the province.
