HTS MUN 2021

PLEASE NOTE: THE HTSMUN SUMMIT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR.

HTSMUN II

Open to students Grades 7 to 12, HTSMUN’s 2021 Summit is the school’s second official conference aimed towards helping students solve real world issues with the political policies and perspectives of specific countries in mind. Taking place from May 29th to 30th, participants will be able to attend two enriching committees:

Specialized Assembly: The African Union

This committee explores the complex issues in Africa, such as its digital divide as well as the illicit arms trade. In this committee, delegates will be an active part of the African Union and work together to solve these issues. Critically, delegates must keep in mind the intersectionality of the issues such as political, sociological and economic factors.

Joint Crisis Committee: The Cold War...with Heated Tensions!

An exhilarating historical crisis in the year of 1983, this committee throws delegates into the positions of the United States of America or the USSR. Positioned against each other, delegates must find a way to navigate the challenges of the era. While the two sides will be divided, each of their actions will have a resonating impact in the committee, posing a unique challenge for the delegates.

Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or experienced delegate, HTSMUN II is a conference welcoming delegates of all skill levels. Regardless of your experience, this conference will provide a space where students could learn, grow, and improve upon themselves. Come join HTSMUN II for an exciting and unforgettable experience!
