In 2020, James Raffan was named by Canadian Geographic as one of the “90 most influential explorers in the nation’s recorded history." James has spent his life exploring the North by almost every conveyance imaginable, from snowshoes to nuclear-powered icebreakers. Along the way, he has woven together the stories of place and people and has brought those stories back to stage and auditoriums around the world. Rosseau Lake College is delighted to partner with James, bringing him for an intimate evening of discussion. He'll be speaking about his deepest passions: nature, people and how we can coexist in the Arctic.
