Trinity College School: TCS participates in inaugural National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The Trinity College School community came together on September 30th to mark the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, aimed at commemorating the tragic history and ongoing impacts of Canada's residential school system. TCS students and staff paused to participate in programming focussed on the history and culture of Indigenous Peoples and the realities faced by the 150,000 Indian, Inuit and Métis children who were sent to residential schools between the 1870s to the 1990s. Beyond the day’s teaching and learning, TCS is committed, as a community, to work toward reconciliation in our curriculum, conversations and programs.
