The Future Prize Challenge Day for Middle School returned March 2023!

Co-hosted by CIS Ontario and the Future Design School, this design-thinking competition for Middle School students (Grades 6 to 8) empowers them to find technology-based solutions to pressing real-world problems and pitch their ideas in a fun and friendly competition.

Future Prize Challenge Day 2023 was held on March 3rd at Upper Canada College with 26 teams of middle school students from 14 CIS Ontario schools in attendance. It was a day filled with curiousity, problem-solving, teamwork, creative thinking & innovative solutions. The event included a design thinking workshop for students and teachers, an action-packed day of creating solutions, and an exciting final “pitch” to a panel of expert judges. Congratulations to the Havergal College student team that won the trophy this year.
