Member School Sports and Recreational Facility Update from CIS Ontario Principal Sponsor, Centaur Products

Centaur Products, sport facility contractor, recently celebrated its 50th year of operation. Centaur has worked with CIS Ontario member schools for decades to enhance sports and recreational infrastructure to promote a healthier and more active student community. 

One of the standout projects completed this year was constructing a synthetic turf field for Bishop Strachan School. Converting a grass field to synthetic turf at the campus will provide the school with a longer playing season, increased programming time and improve the student experience.

Next is a truly innovative project for Royal St. George's College, a synthetic turf surface with an underground heating system built into the shock pad, ensuring year-round usability—the first of its kind in Canada.

Lastly, the revitalization of outdoor space at Branksome Hall with a fully renovated outdoor tennis and pickleball court facility. This area will be great for all sorts of student outdoor activities.
