Congratulations to all OFSAA Cross Country 2021 Athletes

The 2021 OFSAA Cross Country Running Championship was held at Lakefield College School on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Perfect weather and an exceptionally smooth event produced many smiles for the 1100 athletes and coaches in attendance. 

Lakefield College School did an amazing job getting everything ready in just over a month's notice. LCS happily agreed to host the event to ensure OFSAA Cross Country would happen for students this fall. Following specific COVID-19 protocols for the event, and adhering to the many guidelines for this provincial championship was no easy feat, however LCS pulled it all together and it will be an event to remember.

OFSAA Cross Country Awards were distributed to all athletes and the OFSAA Leadership in Sport Awards were presented to two well deserving cross country coaches; Ashley Masterson (Neil McNeil High School) from the TDCAA and Steve Paterson (Trinity College School) from the CISAA. 

OFSAA Cross Country Convenors were also presented with Convenor plaques—here are convenors, Adam Ross and Todd Harris from LCS with Tim Larry (OFSAA Event Convenor).
