CISAA member schools hosted two OFSAA Championships this winter; Alpine Skiing and Nordic Skiing
  • CISAA

CISAA member schools were involved in hosting two OFSAA Championships this winter; Alpine Skiing and Nordic Skiing. The association would like to thank all of the volunteers involved and especially note the many hours of work that convenors put in to provide an excellent experience for high school athletes across the province; Todd Harris and Adam Ross at Lakefield College School (Nordic convenors), Jane Audet and Sharon Jameson at The Bishop Strachan School (Alpine convenors). Both events involved many committee members and other volunteers. Thank you to everyone involved.

Here are some results involving CISAA athletes:

A special shout out to the crew at Lakefield College School as they battled no snow and icy conditions to prepare for the event and then had to contend with the significant snowfall overnight before the first race. Creating a safe and well-groomed race course in 24 hours was an amazing accomplishment.

CISAA winter championships were also a great success, as a full slate of events occurred over the two weeks following the family weekend. It was great to see the full complement of sports and leagues complete a full winter season and celebrate with playoffs and championships.

Congratulations to everyone involved in winter sports,

Tim White
CISAA Director
