Based in central Ottawa, Ashbury College has an opening for a Junior School Grade 4 Teacher, including Home Form responsibilities, extra-curricular activities, supervision duties and school trips.
As the successful candidate, you have a history of school and volunteer involvement, bringing enthusiasm and energy to the classroom, thriving in a busy learning community, working collaboratively with colleagues, and leading co-curricular activities. Your teaching practice includes current learning theories, technology and creative course design and delivery.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Ontario Teacher Certification
- B.A. or M.A. in English language and/or literature, Mathematics or French
- Experience teaching Grades 4 to 8
- Evidence of teaching that has been enhanced by technology
- Fluency in oral and written French an asset
